POEM ON MATHEMATICS

One, two, three, four, five and six
Numbers are the base for Mathematics

Addition, subtraction,
Division, multiplication,
Make the four fundamental operations

Here come exponents and radicals
They have the powers that are magical.

Numbers are Imaginary,
Numbers are real
Learners find it a difficult or deal

Algebra is full of variables and constants
Here come linear equations
Consistent-Inconsistent

It’s easy to work with Geometry
But difficult to grasp Trigonometry

Geometry is based on polygons
Co-ordinate is made up of horizons

Surface area, volume we have to find
Mensuration requires a lot of mind

Statistics, Probability are important sections
It is not easy to calculate fractions

Mathematics is always a fun
It’s so deep and has so much to learn

Mathematics has the magic and logic
It is an addiction
That is not tragic.

Poem-Maths

Maths is a subject of art,
Where we can score good marks.
It is a subject which is scoring.
But for some it is boring.
Maths is fun, but only when,
I am able to solve the sum.
I do all problems quite well,
As if I know them by heart.
Maths,Maths,Maths
There is no time to relax.
The world of maths is vast,
Expanding and demanding.
Hard work and practice is the only mantra,
God! help me learn this mantra…

Geometry,
Geometry,
Gives us all your shapes...
Circles, squares, polygons,
Shapes of cold green grapes!!!
Shapes of apes, and apes, and apes,
Hiding out behind the drapes,
Time to make a great escape,
When shapely shapes,
The shapes of apes…
Shapes of scrapes,
Shapes of plates,
Naming, using,
All those shapes,
Circles, squares, prisms, spheres,
Shapes that look like rabbit ears,
Angles, curves, diamonds, swerves,
Shapes I often,
Do observe,
Make me dizzy,
Make me sigh,
Geometry's one busy guy!!!
